Personality:Kayla is shy. She hates being the center of attention. It’s an unfortunate fact that she blushes when people compliment her or talk to her. She would be much more popular if she wasn’t so shy. Instead of having a long conversation with people, she prefers to read a book, or listen to her iPod. Kayla isn’t antisocial. If she’s asked a question, she’ll answer it. On the outside she’s just a shy bookworm, but on the inside she’s really fun and exciting. Only her friends get to see that part of her.
No way is Kayla a take charge kind of person. She is more of a follower than a leader. But she is very kind. She hates animal cruelty and evil dictators. She’s the one you can count on to be there when you need her. Kayla is an honest person, but will lie to protect the people she likes. She always follows the rules and has a very mature mind. She doesn’t throw tantrums when she doesn’t get what she wants. If she needs help, she’ll ask for it.
Kayla is quite intelligent. Since she spends most of her time reading long books and doing extra credit work for class, she learns a lot. Mostly random tidbits no one cares about, but in the right situation they could be helpful. She is clever and witty. When she ever gets in trouble, it happens so little, but she always has a way to justify her acts. Kayla is basically a kind girl that most people don’t spend the time to get to know.

History:Kayla’s mother and father were as busy as parents can be. When one parent was off-call, the other would be on-call. Her childhood was filled with numerous nannies. It wasn’t so bad, some of the nannies were really nice to her. But the second her mother saw the attachment she had for her nanny, that one would be whisked away. It was like ripping off a band-aid. You get so used to having it on your skin, that when you rip it away, it’s quite painful.
Her youth was full of loneliness and boredom. Kayla was always a quiet, shy girl, so it was hard for her to make friends. Not to mention her parents constant bickering, embarrassed her beyond belief. It could have been the way the sun was shining, her parents would fight about it. So she found comfort in books. The more she read, the more she learned, the better grades she got, the prouder her parents seemed of her.
Though she had nice things, it didn’t make her snobby or rude. Kayla was very thankful for everything she had. Things got difficult when she got into Junior High. Boys, clothes, popular people, and acne. Ah! The terrible pimples haunted her for a few months before she went to her father and asked him for something to clear it up. He gave her a lotion to use twice a day and before she knew it, her blemishes were gone.
Boys. In 9th grade, she fell in “love” with a boy named Bryce. Kayla and him grew into best friends, their friendship grew and grew until the only thing she wanted to do was confess her love for him.. So she did. But he didn’t like her back. That made everything awkward. Not only had she lost her best friend, but Bryce was swept away by the “populars”. Of course she got over it, she moved on. Kayla was a little glad when Bryce moved away. At least then she wouldn’t have to see him everyday then.
She fell in love again, but this time it wasn’t with a boy. Or a girl. It was with a book. A book about Archaeology. Kayla knew that was what she wanted to be. That was what she would be in when she got old enough. That or a Orthopedic Surgeon. She was born in Eugene, Oregon.
