Personality: Jack tends to be a no-nonsense type of person, a trait that all of the Singer men seem to have. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy joking around every once in a while. He is the type of person to volunteer himself for something dangerous, not wanting others to possibly get hurt. Jack is also known for his level-headedness in tough situations, and he is a natural leader. He isn't one to go out and make friends - something brought on by his years as a Marine - knowing it will only hurt him when the person dies or leaves him.
Ability: None, yet
History: Jack Darryl Singer was born on March 3, 1980 in Richmond, Virginia. From the moment he was born, it seemed as though his whole life was laid out for him. Every single aspect of every single day was controlled by his parents. He played the sports his father wanted him to, did the things around the house his mother wanted to, and went to bed at the same time every single night. Basically, he had next-to-no freedom. It wasn't all too bad for him, because he didn't mind helping, and he loved basketball, the sport his father made him play. His father's commanding nature had been passed down from generations of Marines, and part of his dad's personality rubbed off on his mom. He was an only child, so his parents didn't have to worry about anyone at home except for Jack. His father enrolled him in military school, knowing his son would be joining the Armed Forces. When the time for him to go to college, he, again, had no choice. He attended West Point in New York for four years and graduated in 1992, at age 22.
His first look at real war was in Iraq, where he was with the 1st Marine Regiment of the 1st Marine Battalion. Nothing seemed to faze him, and he always kept a level head through any battle. However, there was one fight where it was too much for him. In 2004, his squad was sent to Fallujah, and it was hell for him. He survived, but some of his best friends didn't. He ended up getting a promotion from Corporal to Sergeant, but he wished he didn't get it. In 2008, he received a pass to go home, and he went to the states as soon as he could. He visited his family, but he had no intention of going back to the Middle East. He wasn't on the plane back overseas; Sgt. Singer had gone AWOL. Not wanting to face his father, he lived with a high school friend in Alexandria, who he had written to frequently. They both thought they deserved a vacation, so they took a plane to Mexico, their first stop. After about a month and a half, they left the country and headed to Sydney, Australia. When they decided to head to the west coast of the states, they booked Flight 407 to Los Angeles.
