Welcome to Paradise Island. Everyone says its the best place to be, and they're right. Or at least, they were. The Hotel D'Angelo has given away several free vacations in order to get more guests to arrive, despite the horrible past of the hotel - which seems to be coming back to haunt them, so to speak.
People have disappeared. Walked off into the jungle, never to be seen again. Some of them turn up, eventually, as dead bodies, barely even recognizable in their decaying state. But the Hotel Staff is trying to keep that little secret quiet, for fear of losing business.
Guests are beginning to get suspicious. And its not helping the fact that a mystery writer has shown up, looking for inspiration. Among the rest of the guests are a soon-to-be-mother, a college professor, and a recently released aslyum patient. What a lovely bunch.
If you care to join them for the vacation of a lifetime here at Paradise Island, it might just be your last.
