or rather, at the drop of an airplane.
Beta Airline’s Flight 803 had departed from the airport in London just an hour earlier. They were somewhere over the ocean now, and quickly headed toward the waters, a certain death if there ever was one. That is, if the unexpected hadn't appeared. As they cleared through the lower clouds, the most astonishing site filled the captain's vision to the south: land. Land, where it wasn't supposed to be, where the map was empty. But it was dry territory, and perhaps if he could slow the plane enough to set her down there, they might all be alright. The Pilot strained at the controls, somehow managing to pull the nose around and set it on course for that island. The engines were killed, and there was nothing but the site of the sea and that strange land rushing toward them. And then... the impact.
Ripping, tearing, crunching noises filled his ears, his mind, his whole being. They were the last sounds the Pilot ever heard.
The plane settled on the edge of the island, half of it's metal shell within the jungle, and half of it strewn across the beach toward the ocean. There were deaths, injuries, and most importantly, a good number of survivors. The plane's radio was dead, and no one could get enough cell phone service to make any calls. They appeared to be in no-man's land, on a deserted island that, according to any modern map, didn't exist. Everyone's first reaction was to act on the ideology of every man for himself. If the survivors want to make it in the long term, however, they'll need to band together and cooperate for their common good.
Welcome to an island where everyone is feeling guilty for the luck of survival.

FEELING GUILTY FOR THE LUCK is a stranded island roleplay -- a story about crash survivors who must live against all odds, and learn a great deal about themselves and each other in the process. We hope you'll check out the PLOT and then the RULES. We allow both CANONS and originals, so a variety of characters are playable.
But if you're only looking to ADVERTISE OR AFFILIATE, that's cool too.
